Last Thursday Art Clubbers and I completed Part 2 of the Crazy Zander Infographics class, so of course I had to mix it up with Phossil. I included Opus, Vega, Zander (all Zentangle) and more.
Read MoreA mishmash of fun things: ZenLinea’s wonderful Starukas, Vine tangles a-la-projectpack 19, and Maria Thomas’ fun stacked Mookas from Zenagain2022.
Read MoreI’m not tired of Phossil yet, I suspect there are a few more of these coming out of my pen. Here is Fossil, Vega, Zander and Opus (Zentangle).
Read MoreThese Zentangle tiles must be magic, whenever I feel there is no more room for anything else, somehow they manage to get more and more. Sheesh! Tangles are Phossil, Zentwining (Lynn Mead), a marine version of Mooka with some Fancy Caps and Opus.
Read MoreThis one had a “less loved” start with Zenith and sat on my desk for a long time. Suddenly the thing just came to life with Phossil, Zentwining and some Fancy Caps! Now it's one of my favorites. Just to show, don't give up on your less loved tiles.
Read MoreDaily meditation included Purk, Spention (Emily Houtz), Mysealiam, Nik (Bunny Wright) and more. A very interesting result, strange, but I like it. Makes me wonder, what's happening here? Is someone entering or leaving?
Read MoreThis last week Art Clubbers and I completed another very intricate project called Bownus Bookmark. This was an exercise in intricacy and using rounding/line-weight to improve and treat a tangled ZIA.
Read MoreI'm in love with these Fancy Caps! I don’t know, however, if this picture qualifies as Zentangle. It's too figurative, too much like a landscape. I also love the frame, I've been using it a lot.

Read MoreAnother "Back to Basics” tile with a Z-string, Hollibaugh, Crescent Moon, Printemps and Bales. This one reminds me of a day I spent on the beach with a friend!
Read MoreAnd another Phossil picture, this time with Bownus (Angie Gittles) and fancy Crescent Moon (Zentangle). Can't get enough of this….
Read MoreThe first live session of the year: Art Clubbers had a special "back to basics”, using tangleations of what we learned in 2022 at Art Club. I'm always amazed at the things that can be done with the simple Z string and the four essential 101 tangles.
Read MoreIn the last session of 2022 Art Clubbers and I had a "Tangle Play” session where we played with Zarillon (Ariane Bauer), Crazy Assunta, Dillo-tant (Lisa Goldman) and my own Phossil. Tangle Play is a new type of session at Art Club where we explore tangles and expand our repertoires.
