Tangled Dragon again
In November of 2017 - that’s a little over 5 years ago - I released a video class called Tangled Dragons. This class showed how to create a dragon head and also a dragon with a serpent body. My private Zentangle student group asked me to teach that again and I was curious to see how it would turn out after all this time.
So interesting to see the before and after:
I concluded that the only significant difference here is the level of detail - there is a LOT more in the recent one. But in all fairness, my tangling has become really much smaller and detailed. The construction was done exactly in the same way as the original 5 years ago.
Here is a before and after final shading of the dragon we did yesterday:
I used Fossil tangle on the neck and Moon Pie in the background.
In this next picture you can see another one I did yesterday on the lower right corner, while preparing for class. Very similar in many ways.
Here’s a close-up of the final picture:
Here are the dragons my private group created, aren’t they wonderful!!!???
Feel free to pin or share these pictures.
You can find the original Tangled Dragon video lesson in my video lesson shop here.
My private Zentangle group asked me to revisit the Tangled Dragons, a lesson I taught over 5 years ago. Very interesting to see the comparison of the before and after. I feel the only difference is the really rich level of detail. I’m officially a tiny tangler. Such fun!
