Treasure Dragon

Ok, my last dragon for a while (I think). I'm really heavily involved in the Treasure series, which covers how to draw and tangle over tan tiles using Renaissance techniques. Couldn't resist creating a Treasure Dragon!

I didn't mean to make it tan, it started on a simple white paper -- and I just had his head laying down, resting a bit. But he wanted to go places that I had no control over.

I used a number of different pens and pencils to create him, and distressed the paper as well. One NEW supply that I used was the Sakura Gelly Roll 05, a much thinner pen than the normal 08. Well done Sakura, the pen is super thin and can create very delicate lines.
