Bownus Bookmark Class

Art Clubbers and I completed another super intricate project called Bownus Bookmark. This project is a Zentangle-inspired project done over a long rectangular bookmark tile.

We started by blocking out the main features which included tangles Bownus (Angie Gittles), Bailarine (Eni Oken), Verdigogh, Mooka and Bronx Cheer Berry. We also added and explored heavily rounding and line-weight variation, showing the power of these two enhancers to correct and increase drama of the picture.

We treated the background and added shading:
