Camreap
Camreap is a lovely "ribbon-type" tangle that looks like wheat, deconstructed by a group of Malaysian CZTs and presented by CZT Susan Yeo here.
I used Camreap along with Twisted Rope and some other tangles, using a technique similar to the Ribbon Showgirl, inking the background and shading with markers and colored pencils.
Here is the original line-art using black ink, with outlines and line-weight:
I don't really know why I picked these colors, but i like the contrast between red, green and blue.
I had originally planned to add a quote on the empty area, but it turned out so pretty I didn't want to drown it.
I also used a metallic gold pen to create dots around the edges, I really like that effect. My favorite part of this is the dingbatz-style frame, really enjoyed that.
