Starukas and friends

Here’s a fun mishmash of different things I’ve been wanting to play with. I started with Anica “ZenLinea” Gabrovec’s wonderful Starukas tangle, a tangleation of Arukas which starts with a star instead of a circle.

The Art Raffle gave me some Vine tangles and I picked Rixty, Pokeroot and Bronx Spear (all by Zentangle). Since I had not participated in Zentangle’s Project Pack 19, I thought it was a good opportunity to play with that concept using those tangles. Here’s a little step out:

I also completed the project with Maria’s beautiful Stacked Mookas, which she showed during ZenAgain 2022. Love this and must use it more… Here’s a close-up:
