Palmette

A Palmette is a palm-looking ornament widely used in Roman and Greek architectural ornamentation. Inspired by that mirrored design, I created a ZIA using Sanibelle (Tricia Faraone), Mooka, Wyfore/Drawings, Cyme and Icanthis.

Wyfore Medallion

Another piece using Wyfore hybrid, this time a designed Zentangle-Inspired medallion. This one was very planned, I tend to alternate between “designed” and “intuitive” classic Zentangle.

Spiral Bouquet Class

Yesterday I taught Art Clubbers how to create this lovely spiral bouquet using Eofer (Iris Heidt), Bronx Cheer, and also a Coiled Berry tangleation of Diva Dance. I had a great time shading this 3-dimensionally.

Fancy Caps Class

Yesterday I taught a much awaited class on how to create these Fancy Caps. It was a long class, where we learned about gems, how to draw the fancy caps and developed this lovely ZIA project.

Rusty Fish Part 2 Class

Last Thursday, Art Clubbers and I had completed Part 2 of the quirky ZIA Rusty Fish class we started the week before. We used watercolors, graphite pencil, gel pen and colored pencils for shading and coloring.
