Swimming Koi
I had an excellent time at Romi Mark's Swimming Gems online class!
We used round cardstock slightly larger than a regular Zendala, and she took us step by step in creating this gorgeous line art using the PN inking pen. After that, detailed instruction on how to create the coloring. I broke in my new Caran D’ache Pablo colored pencils.
It was a wonderful time of Zen flow. Thanks Romi!
Feel free to pin or share these pictures if you like!
Another piece using Wyfore hybrid, this time a designed Zentangle-Inspired medallion. This one was very planned, I tend to alternate between “designed” and “intuitive” classic Zentangle.
Yesterday I taught Art Clubbers how to create this lovely spiral bouquet using Eofer (Iris Heidt), Bronx Cheer, and also a Coiled Berry tangleation of Diva Dance. I had a great time shading this 3-dimensionally.
Yesterday I taught a much awaited class on how to create these Fancy Caps. It was a long class, where we learned about gems, how to draw the fancy caps and developed this lovely ZIA project.
Last Thursday, Art Clubbers and I had completed Part 2 of the quirky ZIA Rusty Fish class we started the week before. We used watercolors, graphite pencil, gel pen and colored pencils for shading and coloring.
I had an excellent time and tons of Zen flow during Romi Mark's Swimming Gems online class.
On Friday took a very fun class with Deb Bowyer on Found and Tangled Poetry. Enjoyed myself so much!
After all the excitement of the Art Raffle launch on Friday, I needed a way to decompress. I attended Midori's Zendala Hen class and enjoyed myself.
This ZIA on gray tile reminds me a bit of crewelwork embroidery, doesn't it? Ink, markers and colored pencils.
A Palmette is a palm-looking ornament widely used in Roman and Greek architectural ornamentation. Inspired by that mirrored design, I created a ZIA using Sanibelle (Tricia Faraone), Mooka, Wyfore/Drawings, Cyme and Icanthis.
