Midori's Hen
After all the excitement of the Art Raffle app launch on Friday, I really needed a class to de-compress. I took Midori Furuhashi's Hen Zendala live class and got some well deserved R&R. So nice to let another person lead a class at times!
I simply love how cute this little hen is — and Midori led us in a class that made it super possible to reproduce the Hen while at the same time showing us different options of how to embellish.
Here is the art before and after shading:
Aside from the Hen, Midori also added Tomàs Padros’ Wanderline, some Mooka, Flux, Poke Root and Eke tangles (Zentangle).
Thanks Midori, what a lovely time!
Super fun!
I wrapped a triquetra (a three pointed knot) with Umble (aka Zentwining). Such a fun video class is coming next to the Art Clubbers.
Last Wednesday I took a super fun class with Nancy Domnauer on Dressing up Ixorus. Had such fun with this Zendala!
This is Jenice Kee's Jeweled Garden, part of Zentangle Beyond Language event. Halfway through, silly me decided to add a hatched ribbon, leaving no room for the other tangles! I like the result anyway, THANK YOU Jenice for a fantastic project.
I taught this Flower Zendala for the third time last Tuesday to my private group. I think this is the last one for a while! Love the color combo with pink and black.
On Thursday I taught the Blue Flower Zendala class for the second time to my Art Clubbers. I also included references on how to create the Renaissance brown version for those who wanted it. This class is now available at my Video shop.
A quick recap of my recent trip to Pennsylvania and some of the pieces I created while attending TangleU 2022 conference.
If you are still considering if you should attend TangleU this year, here’s a sneak peek at the project I'll be teaching at that conference.
The Palazzo Tangles video lesson is now available to the public for individual purchase at my Shop.
Playing with day 6 of Marguerite Samama's Valentangle 2021 using colored pencils over a relaxagon.
Ok, this is the last of the rusty fish: I took some bits and pieces and made it into a Zendala. Super fun!!!
