I'm playing with Woven tangles for my new class series. Here I worked Nubia tangle (Oswaldo Burbano Sandoval) over Ecoline watercolors. I don't know if I like this technique of applying the entire background with watercolors first, because it makes it harded to add white highlights.

I just love Woven tangles, they look so intricate and layered. Here are three monotangles including Malacca and Nubia.
