Blue Purple Micro-tangling
Micro-tangling is one of my favorite techniques, and one that I don't show in my blog often enough. It's something I mostly do in my private journal and is an ULTRA easy way to reach Zen-flow, because there is so much repetition, with such tight lines.
Sometimes I use a regular string, and sometimes I use a watercolor background as a string. This is one that I worked on for an upcoming lesson on micro-tangling:
One of the things that I like about Micro-tangling is that it requires very little shading. It's MOSTLY pen work, and that really helps to get in the flow, not having to switch too much. In this one I used only two colors.
