Weird Fan String
Sometimes I don't know where these strange pictures come from. I LOVE this, but have zero clue as to how this appeared. I'm just going to chalk it to the magic of Zentangle. Sure, it is stemmed on the Fan String lesson design, however… so strange!!!!
Here are two “before and after” pictures, showing the line-art before shading and hatching:
Was SOOO much fun to make this picture with this overwhelming amount of detail! Here is the final picture again, made over a 3.5 inch Zentangle tile, created with regular 01 Sakura Pigma Micron inking pens and shaded with an F pencil.
I used a number of fragments from the Zentangle Primer book, including triangular J12, triangular F15, square K3. I also was inspired by the tangles Cle (Jodi Ferrini), Bateek (Linda Farmer), Ambler (Zentangle) and my own tangleation Mooka3D.
Here is a close-up:

I had an incredibly fun time celebrating the Unity Tile anniversary with Julie Allison and Romi Marks.
