Elegan Frame and Black Pearls
I had one more Elegan Frame sitting around, and it was just begging to be completed. I used the concepts we developed in the latest Cadent as a String lesson. Down the rabbit hole anyone?
Unfortunately I did not take many pictures during the development, but here is the line-art for you to inspect:
Instead of using the leaves in between the swirls which is typical of the Elegan tangle (Tangle Dreams), I added Crescent Moon (Zentangle, Inc.). Combined with those hatched black pearls, the process took a LONG time to develop, but that was alright, I had a lot of time in my hands this last weekend.
Here is a close-up of the final picture after it was shaded using (my favorite) F pencil:
Today Art Clubbers and I had Part 2 of the super advanced Bucky and Friends class where we added cracks, more line-art and also shaded the piece dramatically. Wow, what a great class, thank you to all who participated!
Today Art Clubbers and I had Part 1 of the super advanced Bucky and Friends class. We used Wyforwings, Bucky Fragment, Ratoon, also Patakon (OsBurSan) and Pickpocket (Tomas Padros). In Part 2 we'll cover more tangling, embellishing and shading!
Last Thursday Art Clubbers and I completed Part 2 of the Balloon Park class, including Knightsbridge, Vega, Paradox, Rambles and Moon Pie, covering a variety of 3D shading techniques.
Even after Inktober, couldn't resist this. Art Clubbers and I had fun playing with Dinovel in a “carnivore plant” version during Inktober. Combined here with Arukas and a wrapped frame.
STILL playing with wrapped frames in my daily meditation. This one with Arukas, a variation on the previous one I did a few days ago, with a very powerful composition.
I continue to play with Wrapped Frames in my daily meditation. This one with Arukas (Zentangle), a tremendous result which I'm really happy with.
These days I’m pretty obsessed with Wrapped Frames. Here I combined it with an Art Raffle during my daily meditation. Included Sez (Zentangle), a tassel and some woven ribbons. Fun!!!
This piece feels like it's part of a series started several months ago. Aside from Verve, Mysealiam and Spention, I also used several unnamed fragments found in some of photographs I took during trips and outings.
