Daily Zenflow with Zentwining
I try to draw every day to get my daily dose of Zen-flow. Sometimes I can't, and I can see a visible difference in my mood (and so can others around me!). Sometimes I work on the same piece for a few days. Sometimes I create simpler pieces that take me lesson than an hour. This is one of those, just love Zentwining (a concept originally by Lynn Mead, my hero, find more information here).
Here's a little sequence of the line-art:
This is one of the reasons I love Zentangle: I never know where the string is going to take me. It's so fun to just follow the crazy composition of the string. Here is a close-up of the final art:
I wrapped a triquetra (a three pointed knot) with Umble (aka Zentwining). Such a fun video class is coming next to the Art Clubbers.
Zentwining the tangle Trinity provided for hours of much needed Zen flow while feeling under the weather.
Still playing with Zentwining, this time adding a fringe to the bottom, and some bejeweled Hurry in the background.
I had a super fun live session with Art Clubbers yesterday on Zentwining shading, working over volunteered student work.
Art Clubbers and I are playing with Zentwining, a tangle enhancer originally developed by Lynn Mead.
Zentwining is a tangle enhancer originally developed by Lynn Mead. In this lesson, I show you my version of this favorite enhancer.
More abstract work over watercolor paper. I used Bilt (Lisa Skeen), African Artist (Tina Hunziker) and Zentwining (Lynn Mead). I’m really enjoying the tangle Bilt - reminds me a bit of Betweed, but in a different way.
