More Crewel Petals with Purple and Orange
Trying the Crewel Petals coloring technique in a different color scheme — purple, orange and blue as the main color families. I like it, but I still like the original one (red, green and blue) a little more. Perhaps because it is more similar to real crewel embroideries, which tend to have those three colors very often. Here are the pens and colored pencils I used for this one:
One thing I did not like very much about this one is that the main petal is a little too large, which limited the amount of space left for the other petals. Oh well, lesson learned!
