Ren Cornucopia
Yesterday I was preparing for my upcoming live online session Souvenir Samplers which will happen next Tuesday, March 10, 2020 with Art Club members, creating some stamp sized squares and distressed tiles.
I couldn't resist these distressed tiles and pulled out a raffle to help me get inspired:
Tangles used were: Hollis, Shattuck, Auraknot and Hollibaugh (all Zentangle, Inc.) and Pufcookie (Eni Oken. I love the pinwheel string, I've worked it many times and it is one of my favorites, forming a sort of Cornucopia:
Here's a little step-out of the process. I have to confess I spent quite a few hours coloring and shading, the ugly stage of this technique is VERY long, but I'm super happy with the results and it gave me a TON of Zen flow.
Here's a close-up of the picture for you to inspect:
And here are a couple of pictures for you to pin or share, if you feel like it:
If you liked this project and would like to vote for this to become a lesson, send me email here.
Last Friday Art Clubbers and I had a class on how to use the classic Tornado layout combined with a cornucopia filling.
