Nancy's Knot Class
I had a lovely time this morning in Nancy Dawes’ basic Celtic Knot class. Aside from being a good friend, Nancy is a kind and patient teacher who has a nice way of explaining how to create basic knots using a metaphor of based on roads and underpasses.
Here’s the before and after of the tile I made in class, I couldn’t resist making it a little wonky and curved.
And here’s a close-up for you to inspect. I shaded it with black colored pencil and added a simple border using a fude brush pen.

Lately I've been exploring Celtic knots. I started these recipe cards testing the method similar to constructing the tangle Huggins, but I discovered another book and tried a different method which is more similar to my Freeform Knots class. I also tried some treatment options, mixing brown pen tangling with some color.
