Molygon Towers Lesson
Today Art Clubbers and I had a live class on how to create these Molygon Towers, which are a different and more 3-dimensional variation of Articulated Molygon (Zentangle).
We started by understanding how the towers can be broken down into individual molygon fragments to form a straight or curved tower.
We referred to the worksheet that I provided to Clubbers before the class so that they could get warmed up and practice their fragments ahead of time.
After thoroughly understanding how the towers are built, we started our project, with a single Molygon tower. It's all about the auras!
We used watercolor pencils and a waterbrush to create the shading.
After creating the first tower, we also explored how to add a second (or third or fourth tower) and treat the background with Hollis and watercolor pencils in brown.
The class lasted about 2.5 hours with over 60 people. After the class was over, we still stayed for an extra hour, just chatting away and tangling together. Super FUN!!!! I love my Clubbers!!!!

A super fun class with Art Clubbers, learning how to explore articulated Molygon into gorgeous 3-dimensional towers.
