Metal Tile on Canvas

Spent a wonderful day with my friend Flori — we created embossed metal tiles in her beautiful art studio and went for a lovely lunch. So much fun! Here she is, hard at work and concentration:

Here is my work in progress. Flori had some tiny canvases on board, so I create the piece over that. I'm not sure I like as much as the paper — the metal seems to glue better over thick cardstock, but it was fun to experiment and I like the result, it looks more substantial.

Here is my friend's gorgeous piece before and after antiquing — she created it on a rectangular piece of card.

And here is my piece, created over the mini-canvas, after applying patina. I really like the diagonal lines.
