Banderole with Mind and Tangle
I don’t know about you but my nerves are frazzled no end with all that is happening. Here at home we made an executive order that we are not going to look at the news or social media more than once in the morning and once at night. (And that is still enough to make one cringe).
This morning I followed the bandwagon and accompanied the Spanish teacher Alicia G. Rey (MindandTangle) in creating this simple but relaxing design. We started with Banderole (Lizzie Mayne) and immediately I knew that it would go somewhere I hadn’t planned.
Next, we added Logjam (Wayne Harlow) and Diamonds & Squares (Deanne Stewart). I was happily surprised at how much I enjoyed that grid pattern, given that I am not a huge fan of grids in general.
After the session was over I spent a good amount of time adding some shading. I love the simplicity of the result!

I’m feeling so frazzled lately with all that’s happening and the hype of the media. This morning I followed Alicia G. Rey (Mind and Tangle) to create a simple but fun tile, it helped to decompress.
