The Art Raffle for Android is here!
SO EXCITING IT'S HERE!!!!!
After MONTHS of working diligently, Alan (my fiancé and a brilliant programmer) finally finished converting the Art Raffle App to the Android platform. This was much requested and we weren't sure was possible due to the graphic-heavy nature of the app.
In all fairness and in full disclosure, we still find that some Android devices may perform slower than expected.
There are also a few minor differences in the way that the app works — and we're fine with that, being that this is technically version 1 for that platform.
Additionally, a few more cards with tangles and strings were added to the app (all versions, including Mac and iOS).
What I like about these string cards is that they are not single type strings for you to copy identically. Instead, they are TYPES of strings that follow certain features. For example, the back of the Grid String card shows several examples of grids to inspire you to manipulate angle and grid spacing.
I'm incredibly impressed by Alan's diligence in making this request a reality. He worked for months during his spare time after work, sometimes staying many hours until late at night. It is thanks to his hard work that this App exists and now is available to Android users.
By the way the app is completely FREE, no strings attached.
