Fantasy Houses

About 20 years ago, I was an instructor in fantasy design and video games. My most successful class, taught at many conferences in the industry, taught how to design fantasy worlds, so this is a topic dear to my heart.

In this lesson, you'll learn how to create houses in two different points of view, elevation style and bird's eye view, while developing your own unique fantasy style.

In this lesson you will:

  • Understand how to understand the concept of a house

  • Learn how to manipulate and create your own style

  • Learn two different drawing techniques, intermediate and advanced

  • Create two projects, from beginning to end, including shading

  • Learn how to improve shading through overlap and atmospheric shading

  • Learn how to develop reference materials and samplers

  • Learn how to avoid pitfalls and mistakes

  • Learn how to create the most adorable little fantasy villages

  • And so many tips and tricks!
