Zentangle MatchMaking: Rumpus
Yesterday Art Clubbers and I had another session of Zentangle Match Making, a series which addresses issues of how to select and combine tangles with strings during classic Zentangle sessions and most importantly, how to learn about Zentangle composition.
In this session, I showed an important tool and trick which can help a tangler to build better visual libraries.
If you don’t actively build a visual library of your own, you’re missing an important part of the experience of being an artist. Even if you do build one, it's important to create visual libraries that can help you, not only to practice tangles in a way that help you fully acquire each tangle, not only superficially.
To demonstrate my system and practical tool, I used the tangle Rumpus (Zentangle).
After the theory and practice, we applied the learning to a simple monotangle tile using Rumpus:
What a fantastic session that was! Zentangle MatchMaking is an exclusive series which is only available through my Art Club.

This is the first picture of the year - technically it was started in 2023, derived from the Zentangle MatchMaking series. In this one I used Meer, Fife, Mooka3D and a horizon enhancer that made this look more like some kind of landscape. Love when that happens!
