Two tiles from Tangle U
Here are a couple of tiles that I finished during the last Tangle U, can you tell that I really enjoyed the conference?
This one was made during Lynn Meads excellent Notan class, and is based on a project Zentangle HQ released last December, using two tiles, one black and one white.
Since I was in such a Morphing state of mind, I added a morph from Sandswirl to Emingle. Here's another view:
This other tile was created at night in the casual setting of the evening studios, where my new friend Tonya Adams-Mendez showed me a super easy way to tackle Crazy Huggins -- strangely I had not tackled this one yet and it was SOOOO fun! Thanks Tonya! I loved shading it dramatically with some hatched stripes -- just simple graphite pencil for shading:
And that's it for now!
