Philoxy Fragment Study
I usually participate just a little in the Inktober festivities because I have too much to do, and select one or two days to explore. Day 13 was dedicated to Philoxy (deconstructed by Theresa Fessler), so I played with it during my daily meditation.
I was fascinated by the way the arcs form a kind of a funnel over each other. Here are my scratch studies:
After a little bit of play, I extracted the fragment (see the far right side):
I wondered if I could use that fragment in a more freeform way other than radial. Here's the before and after of this simple monotangle:

A few weeks ago one my friends suggested a “skyline” string over a mass of water. I used mooka3d, Alfie (Angie Gittles), Nik (Bunny Wright) and Dillo-tant (Lisa Goldman). I wonder if the buildings are emerging or submerging? :-)
