Crazy Zander Infographics Part 1
Last week Art Clubbers and I started a new 2-part class on Crazy Zander. Crazy Zander is a tangleation of Zander that was introduced by Maria Thomas during Zen Again 2022:
A while back I posted this on my blog, a mix of Crazy Zander and Mysealiam, with my own spin, adding a bit of Flukes, a wild crazy tassel and more.
I had such fun with it that I decided to make it into a class creating an infographics showing the imaginary evolution on how Zander became Crazy Zander:
In Part 1 of the class, we covered what is an infographics (also known as a recipe card containing images and information); also the evolution of Zander into crazy version and LOTS of foreshortening, an advanced tangle enhancer that can really make something look incredibly 3-dimensional.
This is what we started and will complete in Part 2:
Feel free to share or pin these images but I would appreciate it if you wouldn't copy my work.
One of the last classes I taught at my club included how to create Tangle Combos, an incredibly fun process of combining tangle genetics to form new tangleations. In this Journal Tile I combined Zander and Prestwood (Margaret Bremner) as main artifact. I tried to use a slightly different color than sepia/brown, but it’s a tad too pink for my taste :-)
