Perale's Fantasy Agate
Family visiting in the summer is the best thing in the world. I have a gazillion nieces and nephews, and so happy to say that many of them have strong artistic streaks. This time, two of my younger little nieces came to visit with their mom and we had several drawing sessions.
First, we had a fantastic Spundalaz session (look at those smiles!):
After spinning a million spins, we finally picked out a couple to tangle over:
The next day, I showed them how to make Zenful houses. Even their beautiful mom made a teapot-shaped house!
The following day, I was tangling on (yet another) fantasy agate:
Here's a short step-out of what I did:
One of my nieces, Perale, approached me wanting to learn how to create this, so I showed her the step-outs and gave her specific instructions. Look at that Zenflow, the concentration! And such a happy smile!
Here are the two of us with our final masterpieces:
Here are the two pictures together:
I'm so proud of my girls!!!!
Here are a couple of close-ups of our work:
Such fun! They are leaving in a couple of days, and I can't wait for them to come back already.
This wonderful lesson on how to create soothing and meditative “fantasy agates” is back again in the new lesson shop. It also shows you how to use controlled color palettes in your art without the pain of learning color theory.
