Noom Repus and Arukas at Art Club's Tangle Play

There is a new activity in Art Club: in the weeks alternating between full classes, we take a break and play with tangles. This helps to increase our repertoire of tangles, we create step-outs and complete our bijou index.

In the last Tangle Play one my clubbers asked to explore a way to make Noom Repus (Zentangle) a little more 3-dimensional. This is what we came up with:

We also explored a bazillion tangleations of Arukas (also Zentangle) - here are only two cards of the four we filled up - in preparation for the next upcoming class on Arukas and Wrapped frames. SUPER fun!

Last Thursday Art Clubbers and I completed Part 2 of the Balloon Park class, including Knightsbridge, Vega, Paradox, Rambles and Moon Pie, covering a variety of 3D shading techniques.
