More Bitty BookZ™
I cannot get enough of these Bitty Bookz! These are made of tiles — I created my second and third ones out of 2x2 inch bijous and also 1x1 inchies. (You can find Chris’ tutorial here: really clear pictures and detailed instructions!)
You can see all three together here, compared to a regular 3.5x3.5 inch Zentangle tile.
You can't get the full effect of these tiny books through photo, so I created this little video that shows the three books I created.
You can see that practice makes perfect, the second bijou Bitty Bookz is a lot nicer than the first one.
I added a scrap of embossed metal that I had left over from my lesson Metal Tangles for the cover, and drew a piece of Antique Lace in one of the black bijous. You can see how the book opens comfortably flat, really nice to draw on.
I wanted to see how far I could push this, so I created a TINY one with 1x1 inchies, cut out with a punch from some of my older incomplete work.
This one also opens flat, you can see how the spine folds and retracts when open. Soooo fun!
I had soooo much fun with this tutorial, I will probably make more of these!
More Bitty BookZ™, with 2x2 inch bijou tiles and a scarily small one with 1x1 inchies.
