Glow on the Dark Skye

After a pretty busy (and a bit stressful) week dealing with a failing site and a number of other nuisances, I managed to sit down today and tangle a bit.

Continuing on the same vein as before, I created a "Glow in the Dark" tile using the Margaret Bremner's fabulous Skye tangle, which is a very high focus pattern.

Skye turned out to be a very fun tangle -- but it is high focus and requires quite a bit of attention to work with!

I'm totally in love with this Glow on the Dark technique. The results are not as delicate as working with black ink on white tile because of the thickness of the pen, but it's very fun.

Here's the line art:

The other tangles used were IX (I love that one!) and Palrevo (note to self, use grid tangles sparingly with Glow on the Dark).

UPDATE June 20, 2016: I changed the name of this technique to "Glow ON the dark", because I feel it makes a difference between the traditional "Glow in the dark" stickers.

Update June 24, 2016: The ebook is here! Also called "the missing link" in Shading Zentangle: http://enioken.com/3dtangle/glowonthedark
