Star with Gold Part 2
Yesterday Art Clubbers and I finished the project called “Star with Gold”. There are two versions of this project, one more 3-dimensional than the other.
The 3D Version uses layers of watercolor painted paper to form an encapsulated star. The actual star is made with Starukas (Anica Gabrovec) mixed with Stacked Mookas (Maria Thomas).
The second one is 2-dimensional, meaning, the pieces are painted on the paper - you can see the star made with Bejeweled Hurry.

Yesterday Art Clubbers and I started completed the project called Small Treasures, using black and white encapsulated tangles and distressed tiles. A super fun project which shows the power that simple tangles can have when combined together.
Yesterday Art Clubbers and I started a new project called Small Treasures, using black and white tangling and distressed tiles. This uses the concept of Encapsulated Tangles (an enhancer of my own), where a tangle is represented by a few fragments and abundant use of Edgework to form a tight, 3D nugget.
So many new tangles at ZenAgain! Here are my experiments with Wyfore in a 5-star formation. I modified it a bit to make it more 3-dimensional. Two tiles, one in black and white and one with brown and rust.
Ok, this is the last of the rusty fish: I took some bits and pieces and made it into a Zendala. Super fun!!!
Last Thursday, Art Clubbers and I had completed Part 2 of the quirky ZIA Rusty Fish class we started the week before. We used watercolors, graphite pencil, gel pen and colored pencils for shading and coloring.
Yesterday, Art Clubbers and I had Part 1 of the Rusty Fish class where we developed the line-art of this fun, quirky ZIA project. Part 2 class coming next week!
This is an insider picture: some interesting papers I “accidentally” made which look like tie-dye.
Here is a mix between the “Small Treasures” project class I've been working with and the tangle Verve (JJ LaBarbera). I love the contrast between the two sides!
