MI2 over distress inks

I'm continuing my adventures with distress inks, both in ink pads and ink markers. So much fun! 

I started with a 4x4 inch paper tile, over which I applied distress inks galore as a background. 

I really love this color combo!

I then tangled Zonked (Barbara Finwall), Meer (Zentangle) and MI2 (Mimi Lempart) which is the focus tangle of the week at the Facebook shading group. 

And finally, I shaded it using a few different type of media -- a white charcoal pencil, gel ink pens and distress markers. There are NO colored pencils in this picture other than the gem lowlights, I just let the background dictate the coloring.
