Crescent Moon goes to a party

Sometimes when you need to improve or change something, it's good to start with WHY. Find the reasons why it's not working out and the solution can sometimes present itself. 

I was not happy with the direction that my drawings were taking, so I decided to ask myself Why? Not enough color, not enough ornament, not enough *bling*. 

Back to the drawing board! Here's Crescent Moon, ready to party at the Renaissance fair:

Here's the line-art, relatively simple, over a tan tile. 

This was done using inking pens, colored pencils and white gel pen. Basic coloring kit!

I'm much happier with this direction, will try more!
