Complex String, Copada and Bejeweled Hurry
One of my studentes sent me a selection of cards from the Art Raffle (learn more here about this free app), and I could resist playing with it.
Although the selection required a “Complex String” — a string which divides the tile into more than 4 or 5 sections — I found it refreshing and easy to work with it. The results, as usual per the Zentangle Method, turned out quite unusual. Here is the before and after:
Tangles used were: Jonqal, Gneiss (Zentangle), Copada (Margaret Bremner) and Bejeweled Hurry (Eni Oken). I only used a 01 Micron pen and a pencil, and loved producing all the little ins and outs of the design, very fun. I especially love all the negative space in the final design. Here is a close-up again for you to inspect:

I love journaling, and especially Tangled Journaling. These starter tangled pages help me to get into the zone and de-stressing for a daily session of journaling.
