What is a tangle morph?

A MORPH is a gradual and smooth transition between two different tangles. Sometimes called a blend, a true morph does not simply jump from one tangle to the next. You can actually see the transformation of the tangle into another pattern.

In this lesson you will:

  • Continue from Part 1 this double lesson, and explore different types of tangles: Vine, Edge/Weed, Blossom, Ribbon

  • Understand the differences and solutions for each type of tangle

  • Learn how to avoid pitfalls for easier testing

  • Learn tactics to make it easier to morph, even between complex tangles

  • Learn how to approach "sprouts" on Edge/Weed tangles

  • Learn how to approach morphs on Blossom tangles too!

  • An easy composition for Vine tangle morphs

  • And so many tips and tricks!

Continue to explore your your own tangle morphs

This lesson continues to explore the solid method initiated in Part 1, showing how you can select and experiment with your favorite tangles to create beautiful smooth transitions

This lesson shows practical examples, strategies to create morphs and case studies

An advanced lesson for those ready to explore beyond filler patterns
