YOJ 2005 Week 42

The theme this week is "Art Noveau": I can't believe we are on week 42 already! Only ten more weeks to finish the entire year. What an incredible journey! One of my conclusions in regards to this project is that I am really very bad in following themes, and I just function better when left to my own devices.

The piece for this week was a gift to a friend -- she picked out these very dark midnight blue agate stones from my stash:

These agate nuggets are unusual because they are naturally blue, not dyed, and were brought to me from Brazil by my mother, during her last visit.
