Zen Gems are awesome, but I do love the REAL sparklies. I have a wonderful friend who works at John F. Allen, a wholesale supplier of Preciosa and Swarovski rhinestones. (You can visit their website here. Although they are wholesalers, their minimum purchase is only $60).

I wanted to find a way to embed this flat back gem into the drawing, but not just by glueing it on the paper. After a few tests, I finally found a way I liked, it almost looks like the stone is PART of the drawing.
