Looped Wigwag in Rainbow Shading
I got a whole new stack of Zentangle tiles and played with the Art Raffle to pull out a few tangles. I pulled out a looped string and tangles Wigwag (Jody Genovese), Shattuck and Jetties (last two by Zentangle).
Here's a mini-step-out of the process, had such a lovely time with the line-art, looping Wigwag all around!
I LOVE the Zentangle tiles for black and white work, but they are not ideal for coloring with colored pencils, the results are a little too grainy. Still, I love the results, as you can see in this close-up:

Another picture with tangle Amplion (Nina Dreher-Goddertz). I also included a historic fragment taken from Herbert Cole’s Heraldry and Floral forms (1922, found on archive dot org). It's a beautiful design of a 15th century French coffer. Tangled and shaded using Inktense pencils and Pitt Brush pens with a waterbrush.
