Eco-dyed Tangling on Square Tile
Art Clubbers and I are exploring the techniques of tangling over Eco-dyed papers (papers that have been dyed with leaves and flowers). This one was made over a square tile, and for some reason, I don't like it as much as I have enjoyed the rectangular ones.
I used the bijou raffle to let the universe choose tangles for me and the ones that came out were interesting: Quib, Zander, Toodles, Mooka, Crazy Huggins (all by Zentangle), and Plume-ar (Natalie Plechkova). I also added textures in the form of mini tipple and a “fragment in tangle” effect in the Crazy Huggins.
I like to start my Eco-dyed Tangling by exploring with watercolors, in our special way as described in the lesson. Then, after dry, I add tangling in brown and white gel pens.
I love the result, always so dreamy and wonderful, but I still like the rectangular papers a little better!
Ok, this is the last of the rusty fish: I took some bits and pieces and made it into a Zendala. Super fun!!!
