Dara Knot and Nofomo
I'm tangling so much I hardly have time to post pictures on my blog. Here you see two tiles I created last week: one under the wonderful instruction of Amy Broady showing us how to use her Nofomo tangle, and the other one showing a Zendala with a Celtic Dara Knot.
Here's the before and after the Nofomo picture:
The Nofomo is made of a series of double mookas and then filled in with whatever you like. I filled mine on the outside some "fishroe", an enhancer that consists in creating tipple orbs which gradually reduce in size to simulate fish eggs.
Here's are some other examples of the Fishroe enhancer (this is the back of the card available in my free app Art Raffle):
Here’s a close-up of the Nofomo picture:
The second picture is based on the Celtic Dara Knot, which symbolizes the oak tree, strength and resilience. Here’s a close-up for you to inspect:
And here is a mini-stepout of this time consuming Zendala:

A few weeks ago one my friends suggested a “skyline” string over a mass of water. I used mooka3d, Alfie (Angie Gittles), Nik (Bunny Wright) and Dillo-tant (Lisa Goldman). I wonder if the buildings are emerging or submerging? :-)
