Living in bubbles

We live in two worlds: the first one of privileged, happy people, who have families, loved ones and friends. The second one permeates around the second one, like a thin film of grime: illness, violence, abuse, addiction, manipulation. Isn't it beautiful when the first world is unaware of the second one?
