Abalone Rainbow Ring

This style of wire wrapping is sometimes referred to Rainbow wrap for its popularity among the Rainbow Gathering crowd.The most recognizable technique of the Rainbow wraps are woven ribbons, made with two or three thick wires woven with thin wire in a modified figure 8.

This ring traps a piece of abalone shell, and is woven with miles and miles of sterling silver wire.
