Peruvian Opal Ornate Ring

This is one of my all time favorite designs, which turned into a best selling tutorial: it shows how to trap a cabochon or coin stone in a very ornate spiraled bezel.

Believe it or not, more than 750 photographs were taken to make this tutorial and only 50-something were used in the end. And finally after a lot of work -- success, it's here. Get ready: take out your tools, your wire, add a bit of courage and patience, because this one is fun!

I classify the tutorial as advanced because of the difficulty in holding the tiny pieces in place while you are wrapping the wire. The results are definitely worth it!
