I'm having a very hard time tangling, it was a difficult week, but I thought I'd tackle Zentangle's new tangle Noom bravely in black and white and do something fast and easy. What was I thinking!

As usual, I couldn't resist and immediately started to play with Noom and some Echo Lines to see if I could make it more 3-dimensional. This is the perfect example of how Echo Lines can GREATLY transform a tangle.

Here's the back of my recipe card:

Ready for a tile, I decided to go bold with one of my favorite new pens, a Xeno Fude brush pen. Here's the initial line-art of what I planned to be a monotangle:

Not quite resisting, I starting to add contour hatching with a super thin 005 micron, along with some Connectors (Jane Monk):

Although I'm not particularly crazy about the coloring, I really like how the Noom portion and how it got transformed into an organic mass of chains with the Echo Lines.
